Rapper Drake Actually Buys Adjacent Mansion After “They Complain About the Noise”

Toronto rapper Drake continues to make headlines, this time for staying true to the very lyrics he uttered in 2015 collaboration with Freebandz boss Future, “Where Ya At”, off their dual album “What a Time To Be Alive.”

“Man I ain’t got no choice
Cause nowadays I swear this shit done changed up for the boy
I’m self-made, selfish with my women, self-employed
I’ll buy the neighbors house if they complain about the noise”, the rapper spit, on the album released last September.

Recently Drake showed us we may be able to put him in the group of rap artist who actually live what they rap, as the Grammy award winning recording artist actually bought the mansion adjacent to his own Calabasas home for $2.85 million, according to reports Monday.

The 4,445 square foot Los Angeles home includes four bedrooms, five bathrooms, an open floor plan, hardwood floors, and high ceilings, multiple fireplaces and a top of the line gourmet kitchen.

According to reports, the Canadian “Hotline Bling” singer bought the property neighboring his $7.7 million USD estate back in June of last year, despite the recent purchase just now surfacing. According to the report, Drizzy literally purchased the home after being subject to various noise complaints from his former neighbors. Regardless, the artist certainly stayed true to the lyrics he penned in 2015.

It still isn’t clear what Drake, who is currently touching road on the “Views from the 6 tour”, intends to do with the property. Maybe the rapper will rent out the space for some of the ladies he admits to taking care of. Maybe he’ll use it as a guest house for the self proclaimed Rihanna, who probably doesn’t like to cuddle. Or maybe he’ll employ the property as a party venue to invite the likes of Kanye West and a few of the Kardashians who also live close by. Time will tell.
